Christmas puzzle

I'll put an entry in this file that will some day be in a blog, but this is my one and only day all year to waste on a jigsaw puzzle, so I need to get back to it.

Blog, blog, blog... Is there a minimum number of words needed to qualify as a posting? I hope not.

Hurdles

Well, I have had a lot of problems getting my blog going.

Sometimes when you use a Mac, you have to watch what browser you use. Some websites run better on Safari and other run better using Firefox. The PG blog site acted differently when I used Firefox and I have difficulty posting.

Another problem I had was getting pictures on the blog. I am use to retrieving pictures from Google Images but that site is blocked at school and we can only go online at school. I have to settle for images that I find at yahoo.

I am also having a hard time finding time to blog at school. Wish me luck!

Keeping Up

Anyone have ideas for their wikis? I think I might use my TAG kids. Since those are really the only kids I see in smallish groups on a regular basis. I think 4th and 5th grade can handle it for sure.

I am avoiding using 3rd grade. I know that they wont be able to use it very much.

Blogging issues

Well, I tried to log on to blog and at some point was able to actually get in.  Everyone seems to be having problems with it.  I sure hope they get this straightened out soon.  It is really not that difficult to blog!

Dive In!

I am sure glad that I rode with Ellen because I am sure I would still be looking for the meeting place and do not get me started on having to leave bread crumbs to find my way back to the car.

I learned a lot of about the Maryland Technology Standards (good times, good times) I believe we won (tied is a win too) a little quiz. When I say "won", I mean we got the highest score not that we actually got a prize. Dang Budget cuts!!!

I can't wait to dive into a new year of STEP

I think Tia should consider naming her baby after Beltsville's Team because we know how we have enriched your life.

"MELJEN STECHRELL"

It's only a suggestion but it just rolls off the tongue

STEP-Being new

Being new to STEP I wasn't sure what I was in for.  I have enjoyed working with technology and I am excited to learn some new things.

STEP Orientation

Today we participated in the STEP 2008-2009 Orientation Session at Ammendale Lab in Beltsville, MD. It was great to see the old team and new team members (yeah Melissa & Margaret Ellen) as well!! I look forward to working with them (except Stephanie who is listening to music) in this upcoming year! I don't think John knows what he's in for!

STEP 2

The Step orientation was great. I'm excited about all the projects this year. I don't even know what a wiki is but it sounds like a fun website. Not sure how I will use it in the classroom yet but I'm ready to experiment.
